Greg Gamble’s Hoops Special: 22-12 ATS !!!

TEXAS TECH RED RAIDERS (-5) @ LOUISIANA TECH BULLDOGS
I can’t understand why this spread is so low. While Bobby Knight’s 6-3 squad is coming off a tough loss at Stanford Sunday and hasn’t played consistently all year, the Bulldogs only win this season came against McNeese St and they’re coming off a road loss to lowly Louisiana-Lafayette whose only other win came against Ouachita…who the f*ck is Ouachita!...Red Raiders by 10-16 points

MEMPHIS TIGERS (-1) @ TENNESSEE VOLUNTEERS
The Volunteers are still trying to replace some big-time stars from last year as 2nd-year coach Bruce “Shady-Ass” Pearl currently has 4 freshmen in this rotation. Tennessee has only played two quality squads this year (Butler and North Carolina) and lost both by double digits. As for Memphis, they’re riding a 4-game winning streak with an average margin of victory of 20 points per contest and includes a 17-pointer against Kentucky. What really sold me on this game are the athletic swingmen for Tigers, who will be mostly matched up against 2 freshmen, and the fact that they’re not traveling too far down the road…Memphis by 4-10 points

FRESNO STATE BULLDOGS (-3) @ UC SANTA BARBARA GAUCHOS
For all you NCAA bracket gurus, let me be the first to tell ya that Fresno St will be making the Sweet 16 this year. The Bulldogs return their WAC first-team duo of seniors Ja’Vance Coleman & Quinton Hosley, who both averaged 18 ppg last year, but have each dropped their scoring by 5 ppg as their surrounding crew has improved. This undefeated squad, whose top 9 scores are juniors and seniors, are coming off a nice road victory against Oregon St. last Saturday. As for the Gauchos, they’ve played outstanding on the road, but are one 1-2 at home with loses to San Diego State and Loyola-Marymount…Fresno St by 6-12 points

BALL ST. CARDINALS @ BUTLER BULLDOGS (-15)
The Bulldogs are 9-0 with victories over Gonzaga, Notre Dame, Indiana, & Tennessee this season and haven’t even shot the ball very well from downtown as of yet. As for the Cardinals and 1st-year coach Ronny Thompson, they broke a 4-game losing streak at home Saturday by slipping past a young Indiana St. squad by 3 in overtime. I’m going with the home favorite tonight whose top 8 scores are juniors and seniors who shoot over 80% from the free throw line…Butler by 18-24 points.

WASHINGTON WIZARDS (pick) @ NEW YORK KNICKS
I know I know…the Wizards haven’t won on the road yet this year. But after watching them destroy the Mavericks on Monday (and lose me some X-Mas money) I believe their time has come. The Knicks have been playing decently of late, which means Isiah is bound to mess with something and kill their momentum. Secondly, this is the first time that Starbury and Franchise are not getting points from Vegas…so something seems too good to be true. Eddy Curry was rebounding and Nate Robinson was passing last game, which also means they won’t be doing that for two games in a row…Wizards by 3-9 points
