Oh yeah.....its the Money Mike back in this piece. My guy G Gamble has been mad mad hot in football and basketball picks the past few weeks. If you fools have not been taking his picks, then I feel sorry for you. Since GG is in the middle of a corn field some where in Iowa visiting his family and has no "dial up" connection to post any picks I am taking over the picks this week. Take notice...its gonna be alot of choking this Sunday and Monday on the gridiron. Here ya go.
Saints @ Giants -3
N.O. lost last week to a bad Redskins team and are looking to build some momentum going into the playoffs. Look for "La breezy" to get back on track with his arsenal of weapons on ground and air. NY has no LB that can cover Bush out of the backfield as a receiver and the corners for the G men are suspect at best. The Giants are the classic example of a bad team that gets lots of pub because of the market they play in and the amount of talkers they have on the team. Plan on seeing the N.O. team today that rolled Dallas a few weeks ago on the road. Saints by 6-10 points.
Baltimore @ Pitt -3 1/2
Before I give you this pick I must declose I am a huge Steelers fan. With that said the Steelers roll today. The Steelers were beat down by the Ravens a few weeks ago like a handicapped step child. The Steelers offensive line was so bad in the game I boxed up my Alan Faneca bobble head for a week. Russ Grimm Steelers (black and gold O line coach) spent the last few weeks re-teaching how to pick up blitz packages to the RB's and O linemen. I expect defensive guru Dick LeBeau to have the offense ready for the blitz package of the Ravens. In addition, McNair who hasn't been 100% since his rookie season in training camp has a cut on his thowing hand that hurts every time he takes a snap. McNair will spend most of the day in shot gun to ease the pain which makes Baltimore's already predictable offense even easier to read. Couple that with the fact that the Steelers still have an outside chance to make the playoffs and the return of King of Troy Polamalu.......the Steelers will cover by a TD.
Cincinnati @ Denver -3
This one is easy. The distractions finally catch up with the "Bungals" in Denver. Cutler gets his swagger against a not to good defense. Palmer is not 100% so expect alot of pressure from the Broncos front 4. Champ Bailey has two picks. Denver by 5-10 points. Alert, Alert, Alert....Denver is a lock to win......Michael Irvin picked Nasty Nati on NFL countdown! Bet your house and car on Denver!
Keep it tight and check back tomorrow for my break down on Monday night's games. Just a hint...its gonna be upset/choke city on Monday night tomorrow. Holla back.
