Back in the win column last night, thanks to a dominating performance by the Clippers and Tar Heels. My beautiful lady couldn’t understand why I wanted to watch the final five minutes of the North Carolina blow-out. I told her I simply wanted to breakdown some game film...when in reality, all I was breaking was the M*tha F*ckin bank! Once again, Thursday’s provide as much NBA action as a strip-club in Salt Lake City, so I’m just playing one tonight…at least as of right now. This is a pretty straight forward play tonight…The Pistons are without Chauncey Billups, while the Hornets are without 4 of their top 5 scores. Flip Saunders crew has lost three-in-a-row, with their last lost to Phoenix at home on New Year’s Eve, and I guarantee Rip, Tayshaun, and Sheed will be fired-up to prove they can win without their floor-general. As for the Hornets, they’ve lost 4 out 5 since Chris Paul went down with an ankle injury and could be a sleeper team heading into the Greg Oden lottery sweepstakes. Byron Scott’s crew lost at home by 8 to a Warriors squad without Jason Richardson on Tuesday and I fully expect a stronger performance from the former Champs…Pistons by 10-16 points
