Greg Gamble’s Hoops Special: 56-35 ATS

You really think this guy can stop King James tonight?

Congratulations to Gator Mike who narrowly defeated Insideplays very own Damian Cougar. I few others were close, but in reality…besides Gator Mike you all tied for last place. While I had Florida beating the Buckeyes last night, tonight’s match-up between Ohio St. and Wisconsin on the hardwood has me even more excited. Not to mention the classic rivalry between Northern Iowa and Illinois State, and LeBron traveling to visit Ron Artest in Sacramento. Overall, I’ve got 4 plays for you tonight to help you win back the dinero most of you lost on the most overrated Heisman Trophy winner ever…www.insideplays.com

CLEVELAND CAVALIERS (+3) @ SACRAMENTO KINGS
After a slow start to the season, LeBron and Co. have won 4 in-a-row and have started to look like the dominate team in the East they were predicted to be. Larry Hughes is finally healthy and Drew Gooden has been playing lights out of late. As for the Kings, they’ve been a major disappointment and have been surprisingly average at Arco Arena this year. Ronny Artest continues to be inconsistent and actually looks pretty out of shape…but I guess you don’t have to be too ripped if you’re more focused on rapping…Cavs by 4-10 points

BOSTON COLLEGE EAGLES (-3) @ WAKE FOREST D. DEACONS
The Demon Deacons only real scoring punch is coming from the inside from Sr. Kyle Visser, who unfortunately will be matched-up with the defensive phenom from BC Sean Williams who is averaging almost 6 blocks a game. In addition, the Eagles have multiple scoring options, a much deeper frontcourt than Wake, and have already shown their ability to win on the road in conference by beating NC State by 16 in their last contest. Watch out for the Eagles come tournament time boyz…BC by 8-14 points.

NORTHERN IOWA PANTHERS (-2) @ ILLINOIS STATE REDBIRDS
I know you have to be careful early in conference betting on the road team, but this line doesn’t make any sense. Northern Iowa is 4-0 in the Missouri Valley so far, including a victory at then #16 Wichita State, while the Redbirds are 0-4 in conference and have lost 3 in-a-row. If anybody in the great state of Iowa knows why…please drop me an email. BTW, who was the genius that came up with the Mascot name for Illinois St…are you kidding me, the Redbirds!!!...Panthers by 6-12 points.

OHIO STATE BUCKEYES (+4) @ WISCONSIN BADGERS
As hard as I tried, I can’t stay away from this ESPN televised battle tonight. I know the Badgers are ridiculous at home, but I just don’t think they have the fire-power to match-up with the Buckeyes. The oddsmakers gave no-love to OSU’s last road contest against the Illini (pick-em) and Greg Oden & Co. beat the living daylights out Bruce Webber’s usually strong home squad. Maybe Vegas thinks the Buckeyes will struggle after staying up late to watch the National Championship…but Greg Gamble doesn’t…The Ohio State by 4-10 points.
