Rumor has it the NBA will be switching the Jerry West logo for the NBA to a portrait of Greggy G sitting on pile of money! After a 4-1 performance last night in the association (and not counting my 0-1 result in college), I’ve decided to take my normal Thursday vacation from the NBA. Of course, I’ll probably play both NBA tilts tonight since I can’t watch a game without a little incentive, but Friday we’ve got a full slate and I still need to buy my girl a pony. MEMPHIS TIGERS (-6.0) @ HOUSTON COUGARS
The Tigers have won 5 out of 6 including a 33 point pasting of Cincinnati, while the Cougars have lost 6 out of 7 and just find out their starting senior guard has been lost for the year. In addition, Houston doesn’t have anybody over 6’6” playing more than 15 minutes a game, while Memphis has the 6’9” bangers Dozier & Dorsey and just got back 6-11 So. behemoth Kareem Cooper. The spread opened at 4 and has already moved to 6…and I expect it to move again as soon as Vegas gets wind of Mr. Gamble’s selection...…Tigers by 10-16 points.
