Greg Gamble’s Daily NBA Special: 109-86 ATS

While I was unable to perform any Thug Karma-Sutra last night, as mentioned before by my lady, because I’m a dorky white-dude with bum-ankles and a fading sharpie-tat that reads: “Strickly 4 my Polacks”, I did perform some fine research for tonight’s NBA action. As for the big tourney games tonight, I’m not investing…but can tell you who will be advancing:

MEMPHIS over TEX A&M
…the Tigers are soo balanced
BUCKEYES over the VOLUNTEERS-
…Xavier prepped Ohio St. like Ob1-Canobe prepped Luke
KANSAS over S. ILLINOIS
…too much size for the Salukis and cause I’ve got KU winning it all
UCLA over PITTSBURG
…I’ve been less and less impressed with Pitt of late.

But enough about the collegiate game, it’s Thursday Night in the NBA and Commissioner Stern decided to give us a little more action than normal…Let’s Roll Homeboyz and wish my luck at beating Joey V's azz in Golden Tee tonight!

LA LAKERS (-4.5) @ MEMPHIS GRIZZLIES
After losing 7 in-a-row, Kobe has decided with the return of Odom and Walton it’s time to get the boyz ready for the playoffs. As for the Grizz, with a lame-duck interim coach, players looking to head out of town as soon as the season’s over, a rookie in-charge of guarding the Great Kobinator (Rudy Gay), and Mike Miller banged-up, this has blow-out written all over it. Memphis just lost at home by double digits to the Hornets and looked like a bunch of draft prospects showing off for potential suitors, while the Zen Master actually has Kwame Brown reading a book…enough said…Lakers by double digits

SACRAMENTO KINGS @ PHOENIX SUNS (-13)
The Suns have run into the right group of teams to get back on track (T-Wolves, Kings, & the Grizz) and will be playing a Kings team tonight who just lost at home to the frickin’ Timberwolves. In addition, Ron Artest was just dealt some news about his domestic abuse chargers, and even if he doesn’t understand what’s going on, he’ll be distracted by all the white dudes in suits telling him to stop acting like a Tru Warrior! As for the Suns, they always look better against teams with slow big-men as Marion, Stoudemire, & Diaw can simply out run and jump their way to the basket…so good luck to Corliss Williamson, Adbul-Rahim, Brad Miller (questionable), & Kenny Thomas (questionable). In addition, Stoudemire only had 4 points cause of foul trouble in the Suns 18 point win over the T-Wolves, so I’m thinking he’s good for a 30 point 20 rebound performance tonight…Suns by 18-14 points

DENVER NUGGETS (+4) @ CHICAGO BULLS
Even though my Homeboyz Larry & Trevor alwawys tell me…Never cook bacon naked, and never bet against the Bulls at home, I just can’t get myself to see how the Bulls can pull this one out tonight. The Nuggets are finally hitting on all cylinders having won 5 in-a-row (Including wins @ NJ, at home by 24 over the Suns and by 27 against the Lakers), and have some size in the frontcourt to cause problems for the smurf-like Bullies. Besides the fact that the Bulls just got pasted at home by the Clippers and lost on the road against the Grizz, I guarantee Hinrich is in foul trouble midway thru the 1st quarter and Ben Wallace shoots way too much after scoring 19 points in his last contest. In addition, Gordon and Deng really look tired lately and Skiles still has to play P.J. Brown, Malik Allen, & Michael Sweetney big-time minutes at power forward….Unfortunately, the Nuggets by 4-10 points
