Greg Gamble’s Hoop Special: 138-121 ATS

My 3-0 NBA and 0-1 NCAA performance last night helped validate my “Hate-Mail”, or as we call it here at the Greggy G Mothership: “Tim Hardaway Mail”, because every degenerate insists I should disband the NCAA selections from my picks (NBA 88-69 ATS; NCAA 50-52 ATS). To the millions who agree with the Hardaway Mail…screw you and get your own website! All the losing record in the NCAA means to me is that I’ll be doubling-up all my plays from here on out, because I’m a finisher like Asia Carrera and will cap this season with plenty of Happy Endings. Much love to the Hornets for finally draining some FTs and giving me the 30 second backend cover. The run has started fellaz and I feel like A.C. Green after playing 6 seasons and staying away from all the groupie temptations…so fresh and so clean and ready for a long-run!

Listen to me now and hear me later…the 26-2 #9 Wolfpack will be in the Final Four this year. Their roster is loaded with veteran role players, they have two legit stars, and understand they cannot lose a game from here on out to lock-up a top 2 seed. Nevada has been blowing teams out at home and on the road, and just beat this same Aggie squad by 15 in late January. While the Aggies have played well this year, their NCAA tourney hopes have almost completely vanished after losing their last two on the road, including an embarrassing 13 point loss at last place Louisiana Tech. BTW, if you’re worried that this is the Aggies last home game for the seniors…don’t, they play Fresno St. at home on Saturday…Wolfpack by 8-14 points (as always)

Cal-Poly is the hottest team in the Big West and are returning home after winning two on the road, including a surprising 10 pointer at 2nd place Cal-St. Fullerton. More importantly, they actually just beat the Matadors by 11 at their place. The Mustangs have some unbelievable veteran shooters, 39% from deep as a team, and should shine in-front of a home-crowd that truly believes they’re going to the NCAA tourney…Mustangs by 11-17 points

The 25-3 Tigers may be the quietest top-ten teams in the land, are currently riding a ridiculous 17-game win streak where only 2 have been under a 10 point margin, and will be playing on nation TV tonight (ESPN2) ready to prove they’re worth at top 2 seeding. As for the Miners, they’ve pretty much sucked lately and even lost at last place E. Carolina on Saturday…Tigers by 14-20 points

I know I bet on the Tar Heels way too much, but I’ve actually avoided them lately and like how everybody has fallen of the bandwagon…by bandwagon, I mean how all the double-digit spreads for them on road have disappeared. While they lost at Maryland by two on Sunday (who currently is the hottest team in the ACC), North Carolina has followed up their last two tough loses with huge road wins (@Duke by 6, @BC by 5). I do believe all the youngsters on the Tar Heels hit a wall late in the year, but Roy will get them back on track and it definitely helps that they’re playing a Yellow Jackets squad whose two star are freshman…Tar Heels by 10-16 points
