Not to bad last night (2-1). Toronto was a disappointment but it's all good, we'll go 2-0 today. Let me just take a moment to comment on last night's results. If your Golden State how do you consider yourself a real playoff contender when you get absolutely rolled by the Spurs at home by 37? Are you kidding me? This is a perfect example of how important it is for your team to have character, leadership, drive and chemistry to be a real contender. Getting to the playoffs is not motivation enough to play hard every night? If your tired you lose by 15-20....not 37! Ok, I'm off the soap box.....let's move on with the picks.
Cleveland @ Indianapolis +2 1/2
Lebron and the Cavs are trying to make a statement going into the playoffs. They know they will need to be at the top of their game to have any chance of knocking off the Pistons for the East crown and the chance to get waxed in the finals by either Dallas or Phoenix. Detroit is already primed and ready. The Pacers are a nice scrimmage as the Cavs continue to get ready for the second season. Cavs by 8-10 points.
Dallas @ N.O. + 7
N.O is fighting for a playoff spot so Chris Paul and Co. will put up a hell of a fight. But this match up is like my 94' Honda Accord trying to keep up with that 2007 Porsche 911 GT3 on the Kennedy yesterday. I stayed on his tail until he kicked it into 4th gear and it was a wrap after that. Dallas will kick it into 4th gear early in the 4th and this game will be over. You'll have plenty of time to go grab Jaclyn's (above) number if you got game. Enjoy the games tonight. I'm out.
