Sorry about that last night fellas. No picks posted. Had a personal emergency I had to tend to. Got caught up Thursday night doing my Pacman Jones impression trying to "make it rain" at VIP's with $200! Anyway, the picks today are nice and straight forward and I think you all will agree with them.
Cleveland @ Chicago -3
This is gonna be a good one. If Nocioni was healthy at this point I would take the Bulls because of the energy and fire he brings to the floor every game. I know he has been out for awhile but it is apparent especially at the end of games how much they miss him. Not that King James is Mr. Close-out, but I like him as a scorer and closer more than Ben Gordon in this one. Cleveland by 1.
Georgetown Hoyas @ THE Ohio State University Buckeyes (Big Ten Biiiiatch!) +1 1/2
Forget about what ya mamma told you, this is the game of the year. The winner of this game will win the title. No Florida repeat. Put your girlfriends Honda Civic on it. Conley against Green, Oden against Hibbert. Those match ups are a wash. They all will get theirs. The difference in this game will be the Senior Ron Lewis, Daquan Cook and Jamar Butler against Jonathan Wallace and DaJuan Summers. Their contributions will be key. The real deciding factor in this one is OSU's extra motivation. G-Town kicked OSU's ass in the tourney last year, (remember Terrance Dials and Co?) Time for some OSU payback against the Hoyas. Not to mention the pay back the Bucks owe those pesky Gators for that ass kickin the Bucks took in the national championship game in football. That was embarrassing. Conley at the buzzer for the win in this one.
UCLA + 3 1/2 @ Florida
This game will be close all they way with UCLA within 4-5 points down the stretch. Free throw shooting will be key in this one but Noah, Brewer and Co. will be too much for Afflalo, Collison and Co. down the stretch. UCLA may even get a early lead because if their extra motivation to avenge their championship loss last year. Desperation and free throw shooting down the stretch will give the Gators the cover. Gators by 6.
