Tough one yesterday as 3 out 4 of my teams won, but I was giving-up 1.5 runs in two of them and they both won by one. What can I say, at least you know Greggy G is human. On a positive note, my Southsiders are two-thirds of the way to givin’ Cubdom a sweep and forcing a wonderful fire-sale from Kenny Will to actually get us some young talent. For the first time all year, I think the Sux will come thru for me. Got a roll Homeboys, I’m out of Tom Collins Mix…SUNDAY FUNDAY!!!
CHICAGO CUBS @ CHICAGO WHITE SUX
The Sux still can’t hit, while Aramis, Soriano, & Lee could out slug them with a bunch of…White Sox hitters in their line-up. As for Contreras, he’s finally playing like his age (48 or 49?) and doesn’t have any help in the bullpen. BTW, nice overcast day in Chi-Town, I wouldn’t be surprised if we see a few more runs today…Cubs by 2-4 runs
CLEVELAND INDIANS (1.5 RUNS) @ WASHINGTON NATIONALS.
The Nats blew yesterday’s game in the 9th and I have a feeling there will be a nice hangover effect for today’s contest. Once again, neither pitcher toein’ the rubber has been impressive this season (Westbrook 7.90 & Simontacchi 6.31), which means you Greggy G rolls with the team that actually has some professionals hitters…Indians by 3-6 runs
DETROIT TIGERS @ ATLANTA BRAVES
The Tigers are gonna wanna (bad grammer…I know) prove their the shiznit on ESPN Sunday Night baseball tonight. As for the Braves, Chipper and Smoltz are having a cat-fight thru the media, which is never good sign for the baseball gods on Sunday Funday. Finally, both southpaws pitching have struggled to find the plate at times this year, which could mean the Tigers big-boppers have a field day under the lights!…Tigers by 2-4 runs
