Who would've thought this guy would beat West Virginia...gotta give you some props Wanny!
Sorry for no Sunday Pigskin Post, I was traveling yesterday spreading the word of the Gamble and my partner (soon to be ex) somehow forgot to let my diehard fans know the Lightning Bolts were a lock yesterday. At least I put in the Cowboys/Chargers teaser earlier in the week, but I know that’s no excuse for a big-time site like insideplays. I’ll recap the entire weekend tomorrow as I’m heading to the doctor for my life-insurance physical in about 20 min…and yes, I know I’m screwed! As for tonight’s ATS analysis, of course I had time last night to find a gem for ya. Take it light Homeboys!

It doesn't matter how they cover...just that they cover!
DALLAS MAVERICKS (-3.5) @ CHICAGO BULLS
Taking the Mavs off a loss has always been a favorite for Greggy G since Avery Johnson took over the reigns. Both he & Dirk seem to take every loss hard and after an unexpected 3-game losing streak last week, they’ll come into Chicago focused to right the ship before they travel to San Antonio for a Hump Day clash. Match-ups for the Bulls should be the biggest problem tonight at the United Center as the only Bull with the length and agility to handle Dirk in the high-post is probably Noah, and he rolled his ankle on Saturday and may not be available. Another Bull-killer is Jerry Stackhouse as he can back-down our smaller guards and usually makes a living at the FT line with his crafty old-man at the YMCA moves. While most my Homeboys think the Bulls have erased the early season struggles, home wins against the Bobcats & Hawks hasn’t convinced me their psyches are better than 18 year-old on a film-set that only has a mattress and some jelly as props. Ben Gordon finally found his stroke Saturday dropping in 34, but Devin Harris should be matched with him tonight and might be the most underrated backcourt defender in the league. As for the Bullies other scoring option, I’ll bet Josh Howard matches Deng’s numbers at the other end…Mavs by 8-12 points
