ATS - College BB: 5-3 NFL: 21-19 NBA: 26-28 MLB: 116-91

Jefferson & Telfair have started to make some of us believers!

While needing a remarkable Sat/Sun to prevent a meeting with a business partner resembling “Grandma” from Rounders, I know you’ll have to trust me when I say I finally hit some big-time wins this weekend. As for Insideplays.com, I figured it was time for a lil Teasin’ T-Bone to ease our degenerate groupies from crashing the site with hate-mail. I know it comes with the territory and I know even the greatest prognosticators have found a losing streak, but this week…that’s not gonna happen Homeboys...Time to rally!

The Raps just got two of their big-time stars back!

Chris Bosh & T.J. Ford returned from injuries to help the Raptors roll the Rockets by 13 on Sunday, and I fully expect them to head on a little run. Especially with the Hawks using Anthony Johnson & Acie Law IV to slow-down Ford & Calderon, I’m guessing the Raptor playmakers will cause all kinds of trouble in the paint for ATL tonight. In addition, Toronto’s best two defenders (SG Anthony Parker & F Jamario “M*tha F*ckin’ Moon) will be matched-up with the Hawks top-two offensive options (SG Joe Johnson & F Josh Smith). Finally, with Atlanta coming-off a huge win in Orlando last night, I’m guessing they didn’t get as much sleep as they should’ve and will not find the home-court atmosphere as ruckus with the Raptors coming to down. I’ll take the disciplined team with their stars returning…Raptors by 5-9 points

Anyone who thinks Jaric isn't playing to impress his girlfriend Adriana is a fool!

While most of you don’t know this, the T-Wolves have completely changed their line-up and shortened their bench over the last couple games. The results…a last second loss at Atlanta and a shocking victory against the Suns on Saturday. Minny’s new starting frontline has been a terror, especially on the glass (Last two games: FC Al Jefferson 25 ppg, 14 rpg, FC Craig Smith 18 ppg, 9 rpg, Corey Brewer 6 ppg, 15 rpg), while the backcourt duo of Marko “I’m dating Adriana Lima” Jaric and Sebastian Telfair has looked like two completely different players from their past accomplishments (last two games Jaric: 19 ppg, 7 rpg, 5 apg, 50 3pt%, season for Telfair: 10 ppg 5 apg 2 tpg). As for the Wiz, while they’ve played solid without Agent Zero, I don’t think they have the bodies to stop the beast that is Al Jefferson, and Corey Brewer should do surprisingly well against Caron Butler with his length. While the Wolves may not pull this out, simply on their ability to dominate the glass tonight, I’m guessing this one is closer than people think…Wizards by 2-6 points

A lot of Cav players will be playing after spending plenty of time relaxin'!

The Cavs were absolutely awful during King James’s absence, while the Pacers have played extremely well over the last few weeks…highlighted by a 6-point win at Orlando on Friday Night. While James will be back tonight, I’m guessing we’ll see a little rust, especially with Larry Hueghes working his way back into the rotation and Daniel Gibson possibly out with some wisdom teeth issues. As for the Pacers, I know ISU’s very-own Jamaal Tinsley caused a stir over the weekend with his latest “in the wrong place at the wrong time…for the 106 time!”, but from what I hear Larry Bird will not be punishing Indiana’s top player of late (last 3 games: 23 ppg 10 apg). Throw-in the return of Jermaine O’Neal four games ago, the continued development of Dunleavy, Granger, & Williams on the wing, the solid point-forward play of Marquis Daniels, and the depth in the middle to slow-down Big Z (Foster, Harrison, & Murphy)…and I’d be surprised if Bron-Bron can carry the Cavs to a victory in his 1st game back…Pacers by 2-6 points

I could be wrong...but I think that's a Bradley Braves tat!

I know Wright St just beat Butler at home (Fyi, the Bulldogs were without Sr. Pete Campbell 14 ppg), but I expect a lil emotional letdown for the Raiders tonight. Not to mention, Bradley has already played 9 games to Wright St.’s 5, has had a week off since losing a 5-point battle against Michigan St., and actually beat the Raiders by 39 last season. Should be a great game with both teams loaded at the guard positions, so I’ll take the team coached by a former NBA sharp-shooter Jim Les…Bradley by 5-9 points

The Gaels are just too big in the frontcourt for SIU!

To tell you the truth, I started out my research trying to find a way to play SIU. Everybody knows this is a trap game for the newly ranked Gaels, especially with the Ice-storm weather amidst the Carbondale cornfields, but after trying my hardest to find any way to take the slumping Salukis…it just doesn’t seem possible. The undersized Illinois squad is facing a stout starting frontcourt (6-11, 6-7, 6-7), and doesn’t have the usual superstar in the backcourt to carry the scoring load. As for the Gaels, their loaded with shooters and slashers at guard to keep the score moving past what SIU can realistically keep-up with. What can I say…St. Mary’s rollin’ with a 7-game win-streak, while the Salukis have lost 3 in-a-row…St. Mary’s by 4-8 points
