Home of Greggy G's ATS picks

ATS - College BB: 4-1 NBA: 25-24 NFL: 21-18 MLB: 116-91

DALLAS MAVERICKS (-2.5) @ SAN ANTONIO SPURS
I know the Spurs are undefeated at home this year, but do you know how many wins they have without Timmy D…that’s right, ZERO! Taking away the league MVP over the last 10 years is like taking Luci Lui away from Charlie’s Angels and trying to still will a group swimsuit competition. Sure Tony Longoria & Manu “Bigger Nose than Greg Gamble” Ginobili are still All-Star caliber players (Manu is actually questionable tonight), but the entire offense is orchestrated around Duncan’s presence on the block and spacing at the high-post. Tonight, they majority of his minutes will be handled by Francicso Elson, Roberty Horry, & Matt Bonner…not what I call centerpieces. In addition, the Mavs looked awesome for 3 quarters in Chicago Monday, and have the match-ups to contain Longoria & Ginobili with Devin Harris & Josh Howard. Especially with Dampier & Diop protecting the basket and Stackhouse dominating the old-man YMCA basketball battle against Michael Finely, I’d be more shocked if the Spurs pulled this one out than I was when Travis Henry won his drug-suspension appeal…Mavs by 6-10 points

…and I have two more for ya…

I don't know what color Idaho St is, but I bet one of them is on this suit...and I bet they won't look as good!

BOISE STATE BRONCOS (-5.5) @ IDAHO STATE BENGALS
Talk about an idiotic nickname…BENGALS in M*tha F*ckin Idaho! While professional teams can get away with mascot stupidity, it should never happen on a college campus. As for their sorry-azz squad, the (2-5) Bengals are so bad they actually lost by 15 to a horrific Iowa Hawkeye team to open the season. In addition, the needed OT to beat (1-5) Idaho last Saturday and I can’t imagine they’ve settled down since that wild-rivalry ended. As for the Broncos, they have a loaded veteran frontcourt (6-6 Jr. Reggie Larry 18 ppg 8 rpg - 6-9 Sr. Matt Nelson 16 ppg 8 rpg - 6-7 Sr. Tyler Tiedmen 11 ppg 3 rpg), have won 4 straight including 10 pointer at San Fran in their last contest, & are shooting 52% from the field. And most importantly, my ATS Homeboy Larry the ova/unda Legend found a trend that when he bets on team with a Larry…he’s 29-2!...Broncos bitch-slap the Bengals by 10-14 points

College Basketball Teaser Special!

GEORGETOWN HOYAS @ ALABAMA CRIMSON TIDE
Hoyas teased to -3.5
SYRACUSE ORANGEMEN @ VIRGINIA CAVALIERS
Cavaliers teased to -4

I’ve been a hater of G-Town since I was lil guy humping my pillow, but something about the younger John Thompson has made me change my tone the last few years. Besides having a 7-2 dude named Roy, nobody in the country with big-time talent is more disciplined than the Hoyas…especially on the road (last year’s regular season road losses: Duke, Pittsburgh, & Syracuse). As for Bama, while they have some ridiculous athletes, their young and have struggled mightily at home this season (loss to Belmont, beat SE Louisiana & So. Miss by 2). I know G-Town Jr. G Jessie Sapp is questionable tonight with a head injury, but in their last game, So. G Jeremiah Rivers replaced Sapp and was remarkably efficient and helped hold Fairfield to 16 second half points (9 ppg, 5 ass, 4 reb, & ZERO turnovers)…Hoyas by 6-10 points

Cavaliers teased to -4
Simple thoughts from a simple man here: The Cuse haven’t played a road game yet (unless you count their loss at Madison Square Garden to Ohio St), and never look as solid away from the unique atmosphere of the Carrier Dome. In addition, the Orangeman will play their standard zone defense, which should bode will for a team shooting 44% from the 3-point line. The Cavaliers are also very disciplined under head coach Dave Leitao and should cause problems for a team littered with freshman and sophomores playing on the road…Virginia by 7-11 points
