Yet another weekend of pre-conference college hoops, although this isn’t the most exciting time for roundball fans, it is an absolute goldmine for a guy like me that has dollar signs for pupils. Vegas hasn’t found the sleepers yet and there are plenty of lines that just don’t seem well thought out. With that said, gently place your drink in your left hand, the mouse in your right and check out the scantily clad ladies cuz they are smokin’ today my friends. Just imagine if you could actually touch one of them.....
FYI, not that it's been helpful lately, but Greggy G luvs NJ Nets (-3) @ Gotham against Isiah's band-of-bums! Trust me, you won't feel as nervous takin' his pick after rollin' with mine today...
UNC Charlotte –4 @ Hofstra
I am telling you right now that this is my hidden gem lock for the day. The 49ers have rumbled out to a 6-2 start with solid wins against Wake Forest and Southern Illinois while the Hofstra Pride have stumbled out of the gates like a 99-1 Derby horse and continue to fall behind. They are 1-5, squeeking out the one win against Manhattan by 2 points. The 9ers are led by Sr G Leemire Goldwire who is averaging 20+ a game with the other 4 starters all around 10 a game. Offensive diversity led by a senior, doesn’t get much better than that. Charlotte by 12.
UAB @ Kentucky teased down to –1.5
Home court takes this one over, Kentucky will not lose this one at home after two tough losses to North Carolina and Indiana. Wildcats by 5.
Louisville teased up to +4 @ Purdue on a neutral court
This one is in Indianapolis and the Cardinal have been underachieving thus far. This is the day the nation finds out that they are a legitimate elite eight ball club. L-Ville wins by 5.
Sacramento @ Washington –8
The Kings have everything stacked up against them like chordwood today fellas. They are still without Bibby, Rahim, and Martin which spells bad news for two reasons…no vets to help direct this young squad and also no bench to recover from playing back to back nights. On top of that tonight is their 3rd straight road game and 6 in the last 9 days. Oh yeah, and they are 1-4 in their last 5 against Washington. I don’t even have to mention that Washington dominates all of the stats and actually has a winning record to convince you that this one is in the bag like the high school lunch lady in the boiler room(don’t tell me you never tried it)! Wizards by 12
