We have a bit of everything today my friends. Bowl(football, not the cheeba) season is finally settling in and we get to see a couple respectable teams today, we get to hear about Jessica Simpson for 3 hours during the Cowboys game, and there is more hardcourt action than you can shake a stick at. For me, it just means more money tied up for more hours during the day, and with that I say…good luck fellas!
Southern Miss @ Cincinatti -11
The Bearcats have been tough all season long and their 3 losses have been to tough teams by a narrow margin. But what I like about them and their 11 point spread is that they have absolutely waxed the teams they should have. Ben Mauk(2700 yds, 61% completions, 27TDs) will control this game from beginning to end by spreading the ball around and keeping the less athletic Eagle team on the run. On the Eagles sideline you will find a team that doesn’t play well against opponents that pass the ball and we will all see well over 300yds in the air today. Cincy by 15.
Minnesota @ New Orleans -10.5
The T-Wolves posted a solid home win last night and roll into sin city on an amazing high and with a team full of average ballers and almost everyone banged up I see tired team with sea legs trying to hang with a tough Hornets squad that has been resting since Wednesday. This one will get ugly early and we all know that when the Wolves get down they know how to stay down, we can all see that with their 21 losses in 25 attempts. Hornets by 15.
Dallas teased down to -5 @ Carolina
This line teased is about as easy as it was for everyone to blame Jessica for the Cowboys loss last week. Romo is fine, Wade will use the loss to regain focus for the playoffs, and TO will light it up for 100+ and a couple TD’s today. The Panthers have been absolutely destroyed by passing teams this year and have proven all year they can’t score, especially with a 4th string QB. Jessica, if you are reading this, go to the game because this is an absolute lock to win and you can shut up the nay-sayers for good. I love you!! Star Helmets by 14.
Washington @ Indiana teased down to -2
The Wiz suffered a severe defeat last night to the Hawks, but like a good battered wife they will stand up for themselves today thinking things will be different only to receive another beating. Indiana has been rolling lately and did have a minor setback last night, but with Jamaal ‘I ain’t tha bad guy’ Tinsley controlling the game I don’t see how they can lose this one. Arenas will try to do it all while Caron Butler will get pissed, and when you roll it all together it will mean another mark in the ‘L’ column for the Wiz. Pacers by 5.
