Off the bench Ben's J has looked twice as nice!
CHICAGO BULLS (PICK) @ CHARLOTTE BOBCATS
Since I told you the newly coached Bulls would cover 8 of their next 10, they’ve covered two straight and actually look like the enjoy playing on the hardwood again. Since Jim Boylan took the reigns from Scottie Scowls and moved Ben Gordon back to his 6th man role, he’s averaged 32 ppg and been much more aggressive taking the ball to the hole. In addition, Boylan’s tightened-up the rotation (7-deep) and actually has Big Ben playing with his Piston-day Passion. As for the Cats ‘O Bob, after starting the season 6-4, they’ve only won 4 of their last 18 and have actually resorted to inserting the 33 year-old Jeff McInnis into the starting line-up…Bulls by 4-8 points

CP3 has left most guards with a look of bewilderment!
NEW ORLEANS HORNETS (-4.5) @ LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS
Veterans Sam “I Am Alien” Cassell & Brevin “Don’t Shoot” Knight are in-charge of slowing down CP3, while Tyson Chandler matches-up perfectly with the only Clipper who’s played well this year in Chris Kaveman. Throw-in the Hornets other frontcourt beast in David West (19 ppg, 10 rpg) who will be covered by rookie F Al Thornton and I’ll be surprised if LA can keep this from being a double-digit loss…especially with New Orleans coming-off a disappointing home-loss to the Raptors that ended their 5-game win streak…Hornets by 10-14 points

I luv how Billups backs-down smaller guards!
Rip Hamilton always plays well in his return trips to DC, while Chauncey Billups has the luxury of battling Roger Mason Jr. & Antonio Daniels (questionable – hasn’t played in 3 weeks) at the point tonight. I know Caron Butler has been unbelievable in the absence of Agent 0, but Tayshaun Prince’s length will make Butler work extra hard for every bucket. As for Antawn Jamison’s consistent play, I look for fellow Tar Heel Rasheed Wallace & to prove he’s still the best frontcourt player from UNC currently in the league…Pistons by 5-9 points
The Wolves have won once in their last 12 games, while the Blazers have only lost once in their last 14. Considering that the one loss came on Monday, I look for McMillian, Roy, & Aldridge to be fired-up to start a new streak for 2008 and the Wolves to continue to suck…Blazers by 8-12 points

It's tough to take a team that just got striped of their coach!
Impossible not to go bowling tonight with WV coming-off an inexcusable loss at home to Pittsburgh in the regular season finale and dealing with the drama of a coaching change. As for the Sooners, they finished the regular season destroying Missouri and have the speed on the defensive side of the ball to slowdown the Mountaineers running game...Sooners by 7-13 points

The Badgers D just makes you smile!
As for the college hardwood, The Badgers are coming-off an awesome win at Texas Saturday, without leading scorer Trevon Hughes, and displayed a defensive intensity that reminds us how consistent Bo Ryan’s team has been the last few years. As for the Wolverines and 1st year coach John Beilein, they’ve lost their last two at home by double digits, including an 11-pointer against 4-7 Central Michigan, and are dealing with the dismissal of Jr. guard Jerret Smith just 4 days ago. Especially since Michigan hasn’t played in over 10 days, I can’t see how they don’t struggle early and resort to the bad decision making that will fall into the hands of the stingy Badgers…Wisconsin by 8-12 points
