Who would have thought that this guy:
would win 5 super bowls.......yes 5 (not a misprint) in 8 eight years! I can see why NFL scouts get it wrong so much! On another note........
Ok Plax......Brady responded to your prediction with a chuckle. Be rest assured he will try to run the score up on that ass!
smoked Milwaukee by 43 pts last night! I know they didn't have Michael Redd in uniform, but come on Bucks! This the best best you can do against a mediocre Sixers team?
AFC South outlook for next year:
The AFC south is starting to look like one of the tougher divisions in football. Everyone in the division is solid and competitive, but the Colts are still the dominant team in this conference. If not for a couple major injuries, the Colts are probably in the AFC championship game again this past season. Signing coach Dungy for another year will probably be the biggest move they make this offseason. Aside from a few upgrades on defense and offensive line, barring injuries; the Colts should be primed to win another 13-14 games.
This is probably my second favorite team in the NFL. Jack Del Rio is one of the best coaches in the NFL in regards to getting the most out of his players. Maurice Jones Drew and Fred Taylor are beastly and the defense is nasty. The problem on this squad is the lack of a real threat from the wide out position to stretch the field and to get teams out of the "8 in the box" set the Jags see most of the time because of their great running game. Until they address this issue....the Jags will fail to take the next step to become an "elite" level team.
Ironically, the Titans have the same problem the Jags have....no deep threat at the wide out position. This team will get better as Vince Young develops, but will struggle to keep up with the Jags and Colts in this tough division and tougher conference.
The Mario Williams draft pick isn't looking so bad now-a-days, but I know they wish they had Reggie Bush. Ironically, the RB position is probably where they are the weakest, and should be addressed in the up coming draft. A few playmakers in the secondary and the continued development of Matt Schaub and Andre Johnson as a 1-2 punch should make this team competitive; but it looks like this team is still a year or two away from being in real playoff contention.
That's about it for today fellas........Talk to you tomorrow!
