I know...I should have supported the Sun Devil last night!
CORNELL BIG RED (-5) @ HARVARD CRIMSON
(6-16) Harvard’s only won once in Ivy League play, and that was against the equally horrible Big Green of Dartmouth (1-5 in the Ivy). BTW, you’d think these smart-kid schools could come-up with better names than large-azz colors. Back on the harwood, Harvard’s lost 5-straight, including the last three by an average of 16 points, and has been playing without their best player (2nd leading scorer, leading rebounder, and top FG%) in Pat Magnarelli (doubtful-knee). As for Cornell, their absolutely loaded with talent, undefeated in conference play, and won by double-digits in every Ivy League game this season. And tonight...

Dempster:

Hi, my name is Ryan Dempster. I was the mediocre closer for the Chicago Cubs last year. Kerry Wood or Carols Marmol will probably take my job this year, so naturally I want to transition my skills as a starter into the pitching rotation. Oh yeah, by the way, even though I'm a pitcher and don't even play everyday; and on paper clearly not better than the Boston Red Sox (who by the way lost no one )....I believe the Cubs will without a doubt win the world series this year!
Dempster....shut the hell up! Win a job on the team before you start making predictions! I'm sure this guy thinks highly of you and your predictions!
"Lights out Beckett"

Zach:

Zach went out on a limb yesterday and said "its time for a change in New York" because they just arn't very good and things "don't seem to be working out the way the team is constructed now"......Zach we knew this last summer before you ever played a game kid! Wake up. We knew all along you guys would suck. Mediocre players + No leaders+ bad management+ no chemistry = lots of losses.
J Man:

On a more positive note his Airness dropped a half mil-skee on the Boys and Girls Club in Slidell LA. Good to see J man putting some of those chips to good use by giving back to the community!
Kobe:

Some people seem surprised that the Kobster is skipping surgery until after the season and the Olympic games this summer. Are you kidding me....KB is the most competitive athlete next to MJ and you think he would risk a run at a title for a pinky finger? You can't be serious. The first thing I thought of when they said that Kobe needed surgery on his pinky was the movie Men of Honor with Cuba Gooding Jr. If you haven't seem it its a movie about a navy diver who fights the odds of being the first black master diver during the 1960's. We all know that was a great time in American history. Anyway....this guy had his leg amputated after a freak injury on a naval ship so he would have a chance at becoming a Master Diver! Kobe is such a competitor that if he thought this would be his last title shot without the Diesel by his side he would consider a slice off of the right pinky without hesitation if it meant he could hold that trophy in April!
Talk to you Monday fellas!
