ATS HOOPS WED: 1-0…I told u PXH can’t stop CP3
ATS HOOPS Overall – NBA: 70-68 CBB: 22-19

Nobody thought another guard would come close to passing the NBA hype of OJ Mayo, but Eric Gordon proved them all wrong!

While some think the Illini have been riding some bad-luck on the way to a 2-8 record in Big Ten play, is it really bad-luck if your just really-bad? Especially at the guard-spots, Bruce Webber has tried every combination to no avail, and that has caused teams to sit on their only offensive option in Shaun Pruitt on the block. On the Hoosier side, after opening the conference season 6-0 and riding a 13-game win-streak, Eric Gordon (22 ppg, 48-%fg, 41-3pt%) & DJ White (18 ppg, 11 rpg, 2 bpg) lost at home to an oversized UCONN squad and at Wisconsin 3-days later before getting back on track against Northwestern. And speaking of the freshman phenom Eric Gordon, he’s gonna get hazed all-night by the Orange Crush since he spurned them over the summer. While some may think...

In the Road-Reds, look for the Indiana youngster to slip past the Illini guards like a...stationary metal-pole?!

While some may think this could cause some butterflies for the youngster, I believe he’s the kind of star that will thrive off the drama, especially since he shot poorly at home against Bruce Webber’s squad in mid-January (62-58 W). Did I mention that Kendall Gill’s old squad just lost to a freshman-laden Purdue squad at home by 8?.…HOOSIERS by 6-12 points

Wearin' just a touch of yellow, the Warriors will look flawless against the undermanned Bullies

This is the definition of a Catastrophic NBA Back-To-Back for the Bullies tonight. With Deng, Gordon, & Hinrich all out last night against Portland, Duhon, Sefolosha, Noce, J-Smith, & Big Ben averaged 39 minutes of court-time apiece. Even if Gordon (doubtful-wrist) or Hinrich (quest-ribs) play, I have a feeling the All-Star snubbed Warriors are going to be running & raining 3s to tune of at least 120 points tonight, especially with the game on TNT, just like they did against at home against the Cats O Bob in their last contest (127-96 W). You want something more convincing…? How about the fact that Adrian Griffin was the Bulls 6-man last night leading them with 15 minutes off the bench…Warriors 18-22 points

As with USC, just because you have a couple youngsters doesn't mean you can't get the job done!

The Huskies have struggled against teams with quick guards and size up-front, which are the reasons they lost to the Trojans by 15 back in January. Washington’s offense relies so-heavily on the post-play of 6-7 Jon Brockman (19 ppg, 11 rpg) that when teams with size don’t have to double-down, their spot-up shooters struggle to find any offensive rhythm. Stanford & California proved that last week as they both beat the Huskies and held Brockman to averages of 14 ppg, 8.5 rpg, & less than 30 minutes because of foul-trouble. Tonight, he’ll face one of the toughest defenders on the block in 6-9 shot-blocker Taj Gibson (10 ppg, 8 rpg, 2 bpg), while their slow-footed guards will be responsible for chasing OJ Mayo and the rest of Tim Floyd’s highfliers. As for the road-habits for the USC youngsters, they’ve won their last three on the road in conference that have including UCLA & Oregon…USC by 2-6 points
