LA CLIPPERS @ MINNESOTA T-WOLVES (-5.5)
The lowly Clip-Show is finishing a 5-game East Coast trip...and my guess is they probably wish the pilot just skippede cold-azz Minnesota and returned to LA. While the Wolves are nuttin' to tell your Grandma about, at least they've struggled while developing some young talent and are playing hard every night. The injury-plagued Clippers, on the other hand, have been forced to stockpile NBA journeymen to fill their roster (Brevin Knight, Smush Parker, Tim Thomas, & Q Mobley) and seem ready for this year to be ova. Throw-in injuries to Al Thornton (quest.) & Chris Kaman (quest.) and Corey Maggette might be firing all by his lonesome tonight. As for Kevin McHale's designed squad, with Randy Foye finally healthy to pair with Big Al, the T-Wolves have two legit playmakers to pair with the vastly underrated SG Rashad McCants (15 ppg, 41-3pt%) & F Ryan Gomes (last 5 games: 18 ppg, 7 reb). Throw-in the youthful energy of gym-rat forwards Corey Brewer, Craig Smith, Kirk Snyder, & Chris Richard, and I expect Minnesota to be a pain-in-the-azz for plenty of teams to close-out the year...especially at home if the weather continues to be shitty...T-WOLVES by 10-14 points
