DALLAS MAVERICKS @ UTAH JAZZ (-6)
Following an emotional OT loss in Hollywood yesterday, the Mavs head to Utah to play their 4th game in 5 nights. Even a veteran like Jenna Jameson would look sloppy on that kind of schedule. Not to mention, in two of the losses Avery’s boys had to battle the likes of Timmy D and the Kobinator. And I won’t say I told you so, but J-Kidd and his 20 Million $$ sneakers look even shakier taking those open jumpers now that these games really matter. The worst part of trade has been how Josh Howard has adjusted. Since the idiotic transaction was made, the phenom has struggled to find a rhythm and is shooting 34% from the field. As for the Jazz, nobody in the league has a bigger discrepancy in performance on the road and at home than the Jazz (Home: 25-3 Road: 13-19), ok maybe one team is close…the MAVS (Home: 25-3 Road: 14-18). Even better ATS confidence can be found in the match-ups tonight. D-Williams has the size and strength to handle Kidd, while Joumana’s past whipping-boy cannot handle the young legs of the former Illini kid. In addition...

When an Insideplays fav is sporting Jazz undies...that's a sign!

In addition, AK-47 can handle Dirk better than most, while Ronny Brewer has the length to disrupt Howard. And finally, Jason Terry injured his shoulder last night, and even though he returned late in the game, I have a feeling the flight to Utah will have tightened it up…Jazz by double-digits

perfect
I only know one thing more perfect than the Hornets line 2night!

NEW ORLEANS HORNETS (-7) @ NEW YORK KNICKS
* Line will be moving-up all day
Did you know that Byron Scott’s crew is only a loss away from sitting in the 7th seed after getting blow-out in Washington Sunday? Call me crazy, but I have a feeling the Hornets are going to bounce back in a big way against Isiah and his band of misfits. Throw-in a bum foot for Zach Randolph (questionable), and the David West/Tyson Chandler combo will destroy an already horrible defensive frontcourt for the Knicks. And then there is the CP3 factor, with his ability to get in the paint and nobody to help-out Nate Robinson, I’m predicting a 25 point 18 assists night from the best PG in the game. Throw-in the added hype of playing in Da Garden, and I’d be shocked if the Hornets didn’t roll by 20…Hornets by 24-28 points

The Zags have a perfect amount of backside to handle Bryant!

GONZAGA ZAGS (-15) @ SANTA CLARA BRONCOS
The Zags need win at home tonight to clinch their 6th straight title outright. While Mark Few’s squad had some unprecedented struggles during the middle of the season, their loaded squad seems to be peaking as they head into March having won 6-straight by an average of 22 ppg. In their path of glory, a Broncos squad that has fallen apart losing 4 of their last 6, including an embarrassing loss at previously 8-20 Portland Saturday. Santa Clara’s only real scoring option can be found in the State Puff Marshmallow Man know as 6-10 +300 lb. Jon Bryant (18 ppg, 10 rpg). While Bryant looks dominate in the WCC, the Zags are one of the few teams that have the size to rotate multiple bigs on him all night. In addition, the Broncos won at Gonzaga last year so expect the Elight Eight caliber Zags to have even more motivation to blow them out tonight…Zags by 20-24 points

A Gael force wind might be blowing in Portland tonight!

ST MARY’S GAELS (-13) @ PORTLAND PILOTS
After opening the season 23-3, the Gaels have lost 2 of 3 and no longer control their own destiny to capture the WCC after losing to the Zags Saturday. While some my feel the Gaels will have a letdown tonight in Portland, their underrated headmaster Randy Bennett knows he needs his team peaking heading into tourney season. And what better way to regain their confidence than against a team they beat by 37 earlier in the year and completely unable to handle their size inside. The best aspect of tonight’s game is that the Zags play an hour and a half after St. Mary’s tonight, which means Coach Bennett can motivate his players that a Conference Title is still within their grasp with a Gonzaga loss…Gaels by 20-24
