"The Daily Rant"

The Pack:
I won't believe it until I hear it come out of the old mans mouth. Favre retiring? I will hold my comments until I know for sure.

Chicago Rush:
Congrats on opening the season with a 70-47 win against San Jose. I know alot of people don't actually follow Arena football, but its not bad entertainment to check out as a substitute for your NFL fix.

Catching up with the Rush might be the best bet for Bears fans at this point.....They have no QB or running back (I don't count Sexy Rexy and C Benson as real NFL players) and no wide receivers. Oh....and a star middle linebacker with a bad neck! I can see it already........its gonna be a great season for the "Monsters of the Midway'! Fasten your seat belts Bears fans.

Looks like the Pats made the right decision signing Moss. It could have been a bad offseason and rough training camp with Prince Brady's #1 receiver being Wes Welker!

This weekend was just a reminder of how cut throat the game we love so much is. Warrick Dunn had to asked to be released after the Falcons signed Michael Turner to a ridiculous amount of money. I know Dunn is on the decline, but show the guy a little respect. He is one of the toughest undersized running backs the NFL has ever seen. On top of that he was a great locker room guy and a good person. A conversation from management about his future with the team before free agency started is not to much to ask.

Games to watch tonight:

Phoenix @ Portland 10:00 PM EST
