Home of Greggy G's ATS Picks & Happy Faces

Brewer's length should disrupt Jason Terry tonight!

For the 1st time in a long-time, the Jazz have everybody healthy and are looking dominant on the road. Having won 4-straight, including an impressive victory at New Orleans Tuesday, the Jazz are looking to move-up in the standings as they trail three teams by only a game. While the return of 6-7 SG Ronnie Brewer may not excite the masses, his length on defense and ridiculous shooting % might be the most overlooked aspect of Utah’s success (12 ppg, 56 fg%). Throw-in the hottest shooting big-man in the game in Mehmet Okur (last 4 games: 19 ppg, 12 rpg, 46 3pt%), a healthy AK-47, and plenty of scoring options off the bench (Harping, Korver, Millsap, & the emergence of Ronnie Price), and the Jazz are much more than the pick-n-roll duo of D-Will & the Booze. While the return of Diggler and his bionic ankles has been nothing short of a miracle for the Mavs, they only have one impressive victory (@ Phx) since Joumana’s punching-bag came to town and seem to play tight in big-games. Especially with the Jazz...

Are my eyes bad or is that a Jazz tattoo on her waist?

Especially with the Jazz starting to dominate at the defensive end (last two games help Spurs to 64 & the Hornets to 66), I expect them to force the Mavs to play a half court game to totally neutralize J-Kidd’s fastbreak ability. And you know what that means…Jazz by 4-8 points

Raise ur arms if u think the Clippers are thinking about summer!

With the Lakeshow deadlocked with three teams for the 2nd seed and coming off an embarrassing loss against a depleted Blazer squad, just like my New Orleans prediction last night, I’m calling for a 30-point victory for the Zen Master tonight. Even if Corey Maggette (quest) returns for the Clipshow, with Chris Kaman out and a rusty Elton Brand only in-shape for one-end of the floor, I’d be shocked if the Lakers didn’t have at least 30 in every quarter. After giving up 112 to Portland Tuesday, Bryant will make sure his boys lockdown defensively…which shouldn’t be too hard with Coach Dunleavy giving heavy minutes to Quinton Ross, Dan Dickau, Smush Parker, & Brevin Knight. Especially since the return of Brand, the slashing play of rookie Al Thorton seems to have disappeared and the Clippers have turned into a jump-shooting squad that’s simply waiting for summer vacation…Lakers by 30-34 points

I'm slipping off my GST Zubaz if they don't pull this out!

If the Warriors can’t pull-off a must-win at home, my GST Zubaz will be retired forever. Simply put, the Nuggets have nobody that can stop Baron Davis (Anthony Carter & A.I.), while Stephan Jackson has the size and moxy to keep Carmelo from blowing-up tonight. Especially with the pace these two will play at tonight, I actually expect Andris Biedrins (18 ppg, 16 rpg, 2 bpg) to have the biggest impact on tonight’s game as he’s just too fast and athletic for the impressive, but old legs of Marcus Camby…Warriors win

The Clipper roster is pretty bare Homeboys!

LA LAKERS (teased to -11) @ LA CLIPPERS
Since I’ll be rooting for the Warriors in my GST Zubaz tonight, I don’t want to have to be disappointed if they win and don’t cover 4. As a result, I’ve teased them down with a team I’ve predicted will win by 30…seems to make sense to me…Lakers by 24-28 points
