NBA playoffs:
Winning on the road in the playoffs is looking damn near impossible. That has always puzzled me about the NBA. Why do "NBA" refs call the game differently depending on who is the home team? To make the series more interesting? To keep people watching? For ratings? It makes for a more interesting series I guess, but I'm not sure if its fair for either team involved.
L.A. @ Utah:
Utah should feel lucky to be tied up in this one. If it wasn't for back spasms that took control of Kobe and Kobe feeling like he had to do a "Jordan" and take over the game while being less than 100% in OT, the Lakers are up 3-1 and this series is over.
Hornets @ Spurs:
The Spurs "out fund-da-mental-ed" the Hornets" the last two games. Initially I thought New Orleans would win this series easily, but after watching the last two games I realized at the end of the day, the Spurs are a better "team" and will be tough to be in game 7 regardless of home court. I'm just not sure if crowd energy alone and CP3 is good enough to beat the champs. We will have to wait and see.
