Stop right there, I gotta know right now, before we go any further do you love me? Will you love me forever, do you need me?
2008 MLB RECORD: 16-11
Today is a story of home team dominance mixed with mid season minor league call ups. And my opinion on pitchers being called up goes like this....if they were that good to begin with they would have been in the starting rotation at the beginning of the year. So just cause they are in the bigs now doesn't make them any better than what they showed the coaching staff back in February. It is kinda like leavin' the bar with the 250+....you can tell your friends that you got laid, but it doesn't compare to getting laid by any of the other women in the bar that turned you down. With that, have fun with that monopoly money today and go cougar hunting after dark.
Pamela's twins are always in tact, Minnesota's Twins seem to be deflated, plus Pamela is friggin' hot!!!
Minnesota Twins @ Milwaukee Brewers +141(-1.5runs)
The Brew Crew is pretty solid at home, winning 2 of every 3 outings. Which makes this bet that much better because they lost at home last night to the 'we ain't got Santana no mo' Twinkies. With Jeff Suppan on the mound for Milwaukee, you can be guaranteed that he will hold the Twins in check for most of his outing, which will give his teammates the opportunity to get the bats going early. The more I look at this game, the more I like it. I just can't see the Brewers bats being stifled two days in a row against mediocrity. Crew wins 6-2.
This one looks like a minor league spanking, and trust me, it won't be as nice as it looks...
Hot-lanta Braves @ LA Angels +125(-1.5runs)
The Braves are in the middle of a nightmare and they can't seem to wake up. Not only do they have most of their pitching staff on the DL, they just got swept by the Cubs on the road and get rewarded by going to the 41-27 Angels. If that isn't enough, their relievers have gotten in way too many innings so far on the road and then they are forced to throw in a AAA pitcher in Charlie Morton to try to keep this thing close. Can you imagine the Bobby Cox speech....well kid, our relievers are spent, we're not at home, and with any luck you won't see Vlad each of the first 3 innings, good luck! If you need more, the Braves actually won last night, and they only win 1 of every 4 on the road. Angels 7-3.
LA Dodgers +105 moneyline @ Detroit Tigers
The Tigers are another team that is forced to bring up the best of their AAA staff. The Dodgers have lost 3 straight on the road and got skunked last night, so I think they are going to play some tee ball against their minor league counterpart. Detroit has had a tough time winning with their big leaguers, so I don't see it happening today with Bonine on the mound. Dodgers 6-4.
