Bronx Bomber hurler Darrell Rasner (5-8, 5.28) is only in the rotation because Girardi has no other options, and in the last 5 games he’s started, the total runs scored by both teams has averaged almost 15. As for the Twinkies 24 year-old Kevin Slowey (8-8, 4.07) he’s been up-n-down all season and was stung for 4 ERs in 5.1 innings in NY on July 22nd. In addition, after dealing with the travel-bug from the West Coast to Minny in their 1st contest, the AARP Yanks looked much smoother at the plate last night and received contributions for virtually every major player. I expect the trend to continue since the two teams used 13 pitchers last night in the 12 inning affair…Total runs scored 12-15 runs
