This looks very much like what the Twins have seen lately from all the lefties...a little right shoulder luv!
MINNESOTA TWINS (+105) @ TORONTO BLUE JAYS
In one of the craziest occurrences of the season, the Twinkies will be facing their 7th straight southpaw tonight. Especially following an off day, I expect Gardy’s road-traveling crew to look even sharper against the Blue Jays 26 year-old lefty call-up David Purcey (8 starts: 2-5, 5.53). As for Minnesota starter, lefty Glen Perkins (12-3, 3.96) usually gets phenomenal run support when he’s on the mound, while in his only meeting withToronto this year allowed a paltry five hits and two earned runs thru six innings. Overall, the Twins have to be feeling great to be tied with the White Sox considering they’ve played 11 straight away from the Metrodome. With only three games in Canada to finish-up this crazy road-trip and the Wild Card shaping-up to be Boston or TB, look for a fired-up squad to win at least 2 of 3 from Cito Gaston. Twins roll
