Teasin' T-Bone's NFL Record:
NFL ATS: 3-1 Parlays: 0-1
Sunday Funday fellas, time for the big boys to strap it up and put the women and children to bed. To get right to my picks, CLICK HERE. But if U truly appreciate my favorite pics, keep on reading.
Before we get too deep into it, while you were sitting around sippin’ a toddy yesterday, did you happen to see that Greggy G kept on rolling? He managed to knock out another undefeated CFB ATS weekend to take his ’08 record to 9-0 ATS and 5-1 on Teasers. When you throw in my +.500 stats, it means that InsidePlays has provided you 19 free ATS wins to only 8 losses.
I don’t know about you, but I call that rollin’ deep, and damn good reason to keep comin’ back. Since we are stroking Greggy like he is Jessica Simpson’s sweater kittens,
you better check out his NFL winna’s RIGHT HERE!!
I mentioned last Sunday that the AFC may have went from dominance to mediocrity early in the season. Let me continue that thought with what I have deemed to be my week 3 oddities.
-The Patriots are 2-0(no surprise), but they’ve done it with a backup that hadn’t started since high school.
-The Titans are 2-0 sans Vince Young
-The Broncos have scored 80 pts in 2 games, that’s 18 more than the Chargers with 62, and 47 more than the whole friggin’ state of Ohio(Cincy 17, Cleveland 16).
-The Colts have just 31 pts, which has basically been their pts/gm avg since Y2K.
-The Chargers were suppose to cruise thru the West and into the playoffs, they have started 0-2.
-The AFC still has 7 teams w/o a win, compared to only 4 in the NFC.
On to my Sunday Funday winners…..
Pittsburgh @ Philly -3.5
Even though they walked away from Dallas with a loss….
I think Donovan and the rest of the squad showed the nation that they will be a force to be dealt with this year, as long as #5 can stay healthy. And since he is healthy, he knows very well that when the Eagles run across anyone outside of their division, they simply have to walk away with wins. You know damn well that the Giants, Eagles, and Cowboys are just going to beat each other up throughout the year, and unfortunately one of these teams probably won’t make the post season.
As for the Steelers, they still haven’t proven to me that they can hang with a solid playoff team. With wins over Houston(38-17) and Cleveland(10-6), they have simply done what any mid-level team would do. Now they get to battle the chunky soup gang in their own house, I just don’t see how this one stays closer than 10 points past halftime. Eagles win, 31-17.
Arizona @ Washington -3
The Skins will end up last in the NFC East, but I can still see them posting an 8-8 record. They took a tough loss in week 1 to the SuperBowl champs, then put together a solid comeback last week to drop the Saints, both of which are mentioned when you have a conversation about the top 10 teams in the league.
Yes, I know that Zona is rollin’ at 2-0, but Warner has played like he did 10 years ago, and his old-as-dirt body just can’t keep it up. Unfortunately for him, The Edge hasn’t been able to get it going this year, so when Warner starts getting beat up and makin’ mistakes, the whole team goes downhill in a hurry. Skins pull this out, 24-17.
Cincinnati Bengals teased to +19.5 @ NY Giants
Cincinnati/NY over teased down to 36
The Bengals are way better than they have been playing. Ocho Cinco and TJ have been receiving heat all week and will step up big time. I see Cincy putting up close to 20, which makes this double Bengal tease a sure thing.
