The years, ink, and work by Fantastic Sam's has taken a toll on one of my all-time favorite hardwood performers!

But even though I'm bashing A.I. for his antics today, that doesn't mean I wasn't a huge fan of his work over the years because I luv me a showman...or woman!

Over the years, no matter what Allen had said or done, my love for the lil baller always prevented me from properly criticizing the roundball warrior. But after some turbulent times in Denver and then coming to Detroit saying he’ll do whatever the team needs him to do, his latest sulking & complaints after returning from injury finally has me throwing out my The Answer Underoos. Considering he’s never been much of jump-shooter, relies on attacking the basket with fearlessness, and has to have the ball in his hands for the majority of the shot-clock to succeed, he needs to understand his body & style of play needs to embrace a 6th man role if he wants to maximize his contribution in MoTown.

Trust me, ur body will feel better playing 20 min a night!

Just like my azz after dominating Church League and then struggling with my roll as a non 40-point scorer at the Jr. High level, I understand A.I.’s pain of no longer being the go-to superstar. But just like I realized how successful I could be getting my teammates water, as an undersized 33 year-old going on 40 he needs to embrace a change and recreate himself. Especially after witnessing the improved play from the Pistons in his absence, I just don’t see how he can justify much of the “whoa-is-me” attitude with the Pistons barely holding onto a playoff spot. And if he doesn’t, he’s also gonna have one hell of a time finding someone to take him on next year!

Quickly, on the Jay Cutler-front, while you’ve heard my rant on the stupidity of the Broncos new headmaster and my dream of seeing JC throwing the pill in Soldier Field, I’m amazed how many gridiron gurus actually thought he might be going to the Jets or Jaguars. Listen-up fellas...Denver would never ever considering trading him to another AFC team, and for that matter, probably doesn't want to send him to NFC team that is very far from contention.

Sending Cutler to an AFC or contending team is like your girlfriend sending this chick to interview at your office!

As a result, while Washington seems to be the frontrunner, I have a feeling he’s going to the Lions. And while most would think that would be a disaster, letting him roll out in that dome will turn WR Calvin Johnson into the next Larry Fitzgerald and change the culture for a young team and new regime. Call me crazied-drunk, but if it happens, I’m calling for Detroit to be hanging in the playoffs in two years!

This is a biggest game of the year from the artist formerly known as the Bullets! What do you know, I begged for Jay, & Jerry came through!

After years of questionable calls, GM Jerry Angelo made the moves to help me forget about things like Ced Benson!

And I don't care if the gurus think Denver took his shirt in the process...cause that's not always a bad thing!

Driving home from the vet after getting my White Tiger his regular shots, I almost drove my Bentley into a ditch when I heard Jay “Diva” Cutler (JC) was now a Chicago Bear. Throw-in the signing of Orlando Pace and I never thought I’d say it, but you’re the MFin man GM Jerry Angelo. While I knew the NFC was the only place he'd end-up (as I told ya yesterday), the Bears have never made a move like this. After 20 years of mediocrity under center, we finally have a franchise QB and I don’t give a rats-azz if he’s more sensitive than Curt Shilling, Mayor Daley, & Jennifer Love Hewitt combined. Especially after all the shiznit he’s been getting over this fiasco, I expect the Vandy star to bring his game and leadership to another level once in uniform.

While Cutler doesn't have the plethora of candid bar shots that Krazy Kyle had (and who does), at least I found one!

But honestly, I don't care if he's more of a Diva than a partier cause they both have a place in the Greggy G World!

As for the Bears giving-up too much, besides a beautiful neck-beard & some high draft picks that Jerry usually gets too nervous about anyway,it's a steal in my book. Especially considering Chicago was probably grabbing an O-Line with their 1st pick, I’ll take a hopefully healthy Hall of Famer looking to prove he’s still a dominate Left Tackle. And considering Angelo always seems to have more luck as the draft wears on, I’m guessing he’ll do just fine with our middle & late round picks.

Waking up I couldn't believe it either Bianca. How the hell do Da Bears suddenly have a HOF tackle & franchise QB?

And If he's healthy, he's still a frickin monster with skills

But just like the Eastern Seaboard Programming Network to rain on my panty parade, I heard more comments about the dire situation Cutler enters because of our WRs & O-Line. Up front, I actually believe last year’s 1st round pick Chris Williams benefited from a year learning on the sideline, not to mention actually played with Cutler for a couple years in college, and now moves to much easier spot on the right side with Pace on board. Throw-in the bad-azz Olin Kreutz, a couple under the radar options at guard, and a feature back to take the pressure off the passing game, and I’m guessing the mobile JC will be look just fine.

While they didn't perform as well as these two, let's not...

...forget Cutler & Bennett spent two years at Vandy together!

As for Cutler’s receiving options, the Bears might have the best trio of pass-catching TEs in the league w/ Greg Olsen, Desmond Clark, & 6-7 Kellen Davis. At WR, while Devin Hester only ran two or three routes last year, I have to admit he played better than expected and should only get better. And how about last year’s third round pick Earl Bennett, the SEC’s all-time leading receiver and a two-year teammate of Cutler's at Vandy, I expect to see him surprise everybody and to be a vast improvement over Rashied “I dropped it again?” Davis. While we still need a few more playmakers, I think I have few bargain FAs ideas that could make this a decent core for JC's first year…

Don't blame RC for an awful year w/ JaMarcus Bust Russell!

The former college QB and PG for the Tar Heels made an impressive transition to WR before two devastating knee/Achilles injuries early in his career. But miraculously, he bounced back and paired his flawless work ethic with solid skills to catch 117 balls the following two seasons for a horrible Oakland squad. Unfortunately, or fortunately if you’re the Bears finance director, the soap-opera that was the Raiders last year combined with a horrific performance from their accuracy challenged QB produced only 19 catches for Curry. Trust me Homeboys, a change of scenery and a Pro Bowl QB would give the sure-handed vet a chance to regain his moxy and finally utilize his underrated physical tools.

They are simply on fire on the offensive end as if D'Antoni is still roaming the sideline, are trying to prove to management they should stay together for another year, and have nothing to lose on Sunday Funday...which means they blow-out an overrated and mentally-challenged squad!

MICHIGAN ST. SPARTANS vs UNC TAR HEELS (UNDA 154)
As I sipped on my Tequila & Poprocks concoction last night, I couldn't get past the fact that immediately after the UNC vicotry the Izzonator was probably preaching to his guards to slow this MFer down tonight. The Tar Heels are more unstoppable than Travis Henry's swimmers when the get in the open court so look for MSU to do everything they can to make this a half-court game. And since the Spartans were blown-out by UNC on December 2nd (L 98-63), they've gone 31 games without an opponent scoring more 73 points, and of those 31, only 13 sqauds have laced the nets for more than 62!

Just like you can trust her to get past 2nd base on the 1st date...

...I trust that Izzo & Walton will keep this at a snails pace!

To make things fair, I expect the Tar Heels to roll tonight and was tempted to give the eight points and ride Coach Roy to a victory, but even in that case, I can't see how the finally score isn't something in the realm of 78-63...which means we still have 12-14 points to play with like Charlie Sheen plays with relaxation therapists when he's out of town. Throw-in the nerves from the National Title, and I expect plenty of misses early on to send us on our way to an ATS victory.

And with all the emotion from the Final Four weekend, I expect to see plenty of tired bodies on the floor tonight!

While the Devil's Advocate will tell you a blow-out early could lead to plenty of Spartan threes and trips to the charity stripe for UNC, with the game in Detroit City, I expect a nice fight from Suton, Lucas, Walton & Associates from the onset. Maybe you consider my unda play as a chicken-shit out in predicting this Big Dance battle, but I'm all about getting my Homeboys a victory, not to mention I don't want to pay the babysitter with a credit card this week, so I'm going with my gut on this one...Carolina scores between 72-82 and MSU between 60-70.

I know he might be looking at a short stint in the clink, but sitting & thinking bout his career may be a good thing!

I said it the day he shot himself in his glorified Zubaz, Chicago needs to sign Plaxico. And I don't give a ratz-azz if 95% of Bear Nation hates him, he's the missing piece we need. Even if he's in the slammer and misses or is suspended for a few, Plax is one of the best WRs in the game & can be had for somewhat cheap. And as I've told ya before, nothing's better than grabbing a star after a major f*ck-up.

With Cutler's arm strength and Plax's redzone & downfield domiance, I don't see how they could be stopped!

Because just like with tank-tops, in football, size matters!

Sure he'll eventually resort to his old idiotic behaviors, but I guarantee he plays the changed man card for at least a couple years. And in my opinion, Burress isn't a Pac-Man Jones-type of delinquent, he's a pheom that gets lazy & problematic when success starts to feed his ego. And now, he's just hoping to regain his financial status and prove he's not a 9 to 5 punk. So like Daisy Marie in Mamacita 7, blow my mind again GM Jerry and give Mr. Cutler the superstar he needs!

As for opening day for the Cubbies (they'll win 100 games)...

And trust me, Joe Crede's healthy and will have a huge year in Minny, which will lead to plenty of Sox fans bashing Josh Fields for his sloppy play at third and ridiculous strike-out totals. I hope I'm wrong, but I just don't see how Jose & Bartolo are the saviors that sneak us into the playoffs.

Looking up-n-down the Mavs roster, I just don't see the bodies to contain Utah's deep frontcourt and sharp-shooting wings. Throw-in that the Jazz finally found some road magic in Sunday's win against the Hornets, and I expect Sloan's squad to showcase their new found confidence And what a perfect time to find it as they only sit a game ahead of the Mavs for the dreaded 8th seed. JAZZ WIN BY 4-8 PTS

Look for Sheed to finally breakout in Gotham!

Cause for a DET squad seemingly needing an edge, playing in the Garden is like walking in the kitchen & finding C.J.!

With the Bobcats & Bulls winning last night, look for the Pistons to play with some desperation even though they're comfortably ahead of Charlotte and just a 1/2 game behind Chicago in the standings. Especially with the Knicks coming off an emotional loss to the Bulls last night where half their roster was either on John Paxson team the last few years or a former Depaul star, I have a feeling you might see some tired legs tonight for D'Antoni's crew. Also on Detroit's side, you know those vets will be psyched for a trip to the Madison Square Garden...PISTONS BY 6-12 PTS

Just like ATL after basically sealing-up home-court in Round One, I'm guessing they were all smiles last night!

ATLANTA HAWKS @ MILWAUKEE BUCKS (+2)
With Hotlanta winning in Canada last night and D-Wade losing, the Hawks virtually clinched the 4th seed...which means we might see ATL a step slow on a back-to-back in Milwaukee and in front of an empty arena. As for Bucks, considering they've lost three straight and haven't played since Saturday, look for Skiles to have his overachievers playing with some fire from the onset...BUCKS by 5-10 PTS

The old T-Wolves that have been forced into action of late will be thinking of the own beds after this latest trip!

MINNY T-WOLVES @ GOLDEN ST WARRIORS (-7 ???)
Nellie's crazy crew has only had seven players the last few games, and amazingly has won three straight including a 7-point victory against a Hornet squad desperate to move-up in the playoff standings. And trust me, the athletic and hungry group left for the Warriors (including Donnie's whipping-boy Jamal Crawford) is relishing this opportunity and playing great together. On the flipside, while the T-Wolves have been ravished by injuries as well, their remaining crew has Brian Cardinal, Mark Madsen, & Kevin Ollie gracing the hardwood. And especially after playing in Clipperland last night, I can't see how a team without any real athletes on the wing can stop the GST highflyers at home...WARRIORS BY 12-16 PTS

With the Spurs losing last night and the Nuggs inevitable loss on TNT in LA tonight, the red-hot Rockets are positioning themselves for a chance at the #2 seed. And while some will say Houston's due for a letdown after just beating D-Howard, this team is playing with a swagger that Coach Adelman wants to ride into the post-season.

She's pointig to Sucktown...the ATS Promiseland!

As for the Kings, with a young frontcourt, no Kevin Martin, and Andres "I luv to shoot & knock people over" Nocioni and Francisco Garcia as their only perimeter scoring options (not to mention those two will be guarded by the Tru Warrior & Shane Battier), I expect the Rockets to roll early and then kick the crowns when their down. Throw-in the slow-footed Beno Udrih trying to stay with Aaron Brooks & Kyle Lowry and Ron-Ron coming-off an awful shooting night, and this will be a 25-point lead by the start of the third...ROCKETS BY 17-23 PTS

While these 2 know they need Bynum & are glad he's back, that doesn't mean they won't have a lil more fire 2night!

Cause ulike these two, Phil's bigs have something to prove!

DENVER NUGGETS @ LOS ANGELES LAKERS (-8.5)
While the Zenmaster has been resting Kobe & Co. of late, with the #1 overall record on the line, a surging Nugget squad gaining confidence, and the TNT crew running the broadcast, I'm expecting the Lakeshow to play with some playoff intensity tonight. Especially with LA's bigs playing lazily and letting the Kings young frontcourt dominate them Tuesday (Hawes & Thompson combined for 39 pts & 26 reb), not to mention wanted to prove they still deserved minutes with Andrew "Playboy" Bynum returning, look for Mr. Bryant and the fellas to put the league on notice with a resounding victory...LAKERS BY 14-20 PTS

So after they rested their starters and let the entire bench get some reps against the Wiz this week, I'm guessing we see a dominating performance from King James & Co. trying to hold onto home-court throughout the playoffs. As for the Sixers, after getting blown-out last night against the Bulls and playing without their best baller since the All-Star Break (Thad Young), I don't see how they keep this close...CAVS BY 12-18 PTS

As crazy as this sounds, the Bulls might be the scariest 1st round opponent for the three big-dogs in the East. While the addition of John Salmons (19 ppg, 42-3pt%) & Brad Miller (12 ppg, 8 rpg, 42-3pt%) initially ignited the squad, the development of the youngsters and Coach Vinny del Scott Baio are the reasons I'm believing ChiTown will have a punchers chance if they're playing Boston or Oralndo.

Just like our friend, Chicago is showcasing some confidence!

While Derrick Rose has looked strong all season, he's becoming more of a vocal leader on the hardwood and added a consistent jumper to make life even more miserable for opposing guards on the pick-n-roll. At the other guard spot, while Ben Gordon continues to knockdown nearly every jumper and actually seems a little more interested in defense, Capt Kirk’s (10 ppg, 4 apg, 42-3pt%) smooth transition and ability to play both guard spots off the bench has given Coach Baio all kinds of flexibility with his nightly match-ups. Throw-in the passionate and suddenly under-control play of Noah & Thomas underneath, and the Bulls are no longer just dangerous in the United Center.

While these two still have something left in the tank, they just don't have the legs to keep-up with Noah & T-Time!

And just like our friend, look for Mr. Rose to skate right past them all night as well!

As for Detroit, the Pistons seem lost without Chauncey and don’t have many fresh legs left in the frontcourt. And while lil Will Bynum has given them a nice lift off the bench of late, when he’s taking big-shots in the 4th quarter you know something’s wrong in Coach Michael Curry’s huddle. While Iverson’s initial departure lit a spark under this veteran squad, the magic has worn off and Joe Dumars seems left with a tired and crabby group. I know they’ll probably show a little more fire in Mo-Town tonight with their 8th seed rival in town, but trust me, the Bulls will ride their momentum and pull off the the upset tonight.

And trust me, what better way to gain some confidence than walking up to a standing ovation on his first trip to the dish at U.S. Comiskular.

After absolutely dominating the NBA Playoff docket this weekend like the sexy CJ Miles dominated this workout video, I arose with more handicapping confidence than Sam "Ace" Rothstein in his prime and quickly picked two winners with hesitation. That’s right Homeboys, just like Ronny Mexico at a dog show, I was licking my chops when I saw these two lines in the paper this morning. So without further ado, let’s see if we can give Vegas two more reasons not to allow Insideplays.com to be viewed in their casinos.

You know what they're discussing...making sure they slow tonight's contest down to a snail's pace!

Because if they don't, just like mocha's horizon, the sun will be setting on the Spurs postseason!

DALLAS MAVERICKS @ SAN ANTONIO SPURS (UNDA 190)
In Saturday’s home-loss to the Mavs, the Spurs allowed the Mavs to score too much in transition and couldn’t keep pace as the second half wore on. And considering the Spurs were 11-14 from behind the arc and still lost, you know Coach Pops will ensure his vets slow the temp and make this a possession by possession battle.

Just like Ms. Carreno, SA will like focused in the home whites!

The Spurs halfcourt defense is unbelievably disciplined and can absolutely demoralize a team that doesn’t offensive rebound very well like the Mavs. J-Kidd doesn’t provide much of a threat in the half-court and the Jet (Jason Terry) thrives off pull-up jumpers on the break, so look for the Spurs to pound the ball inside and keep the long rebounds from initiating the Mavs transition game. Especially with the methodical ability of Timmy D & Tony Longoria to pick-n-roll numerous times on each possession, don’t be surprised when the Spurs turn tonight’s contest into an absolute bore.

While I luv little warriors, the Spurs can't allow Jose Juan Barea to score in double figures if they hope to advance!

And I'm not hating on Jose, but he's about as tall our friend and she's on her MFin knees!

And in my opinion, the biggest killer for the Spurs on Saturday was the play of the lil Puerto Rican Energizer Bunny Jose Juan Barea (13 pts in 26 min) as the SA backcourt lost track of him on the break. And trust me, that will not happen again. The Spurs are too savvy to let the Mavs control the tempo again tonight so look for Mr. Longoria to walk it up the hardwood for at least 80% of their possessions. And especially in front of a home-crowd that loves when their veterans completely bore the nation, watch as the Spurs pull off a close victory even as they barely scratch 90 points…SPURS/MAVS TOTAL 172-180 PTS

Just like when things got tight last year with ATL, Paulie will find a way to get his azz to the free-throw line!

Because I don't think he's ready for South Beach just yet!

The reason most casual fans hate the NBA is the same reason why I love to invest on the professional hardwood. In the playoffs, veteran stars know how to get to the charity stripe…especially at home. And considering Paulie “oddly-shaped” Pierce seemed a little unenthused in the first half and was given plenty of criticism in the media for his uninspired start to the playoffs, look for the former Jayhawk to force this issue from the onset tonight.

While the Eastern Seaboard Programming Network scribes have been drooling over the young Blazers like T.T. Boy on the set of "Just Turned Legal", Yao & Co. are desperate to end the Round One jinx and have carried over a killer instinct from the last two months of season where they were as good as anybody. I know I'll sound like a hater, but they also are in heaven playing without T-Mac and actually have a nice chip on their shoulder because of it. With Mr. Ming absolutely filthy on the block, the most underrated and efficient PF in the game (Luis Scola), and two lock-down defenders on the wing, if PG Aaron Brooks can continue to torch Steve Blake they could be looking at a sweep. While I luv Portland's nucleus, they just don't have the experience or understand what playoff hoops is all about. And I know some gurus believe the Rockets will be satisfied with grabbing home-court, but trust me, Coach Adelman has them believing they need a sweep to avoid the embarrassment of year's past...ROCKETS BY 4-8 PTS

The Magic were on their way to a blow-out with an 18-point 3rd quarter lead before taking their foot off the gas as Philly's 2nd stringers erupted for 35 points in the 4th quarter, including 5-7 from behind the arc. Considering Orlando's strength is not only the most dominate center in the game, but their length in the half-court, I'm expecting Stan "the Hedgehog" Van Gundy to make sure his ballers keep this thing at a snail's pace.

Sometimes having great length and...

...athletic ability is just too hard to stop!

While the Sixers were ridiculous from deep in the 4th quarter (I still can't believe they dusted of the oddly-shaped Donyell Marshall to knockdown 4 of 5 shoots), they are widely considered the worst three-point shooting team in the league. For the most part, Philly's success has been running the break off a miss and allowing their athletic wings (Iggy & Thad) to attack the basket. In contrast, Orlando's D is predicated on anchoring Dwight in the middle and using their length on the perimeter...which means they'll make a conscious effort to keep this a half-court game. In closing, I expect the Magic to win by at least 10-14, but not reach the century mark...SIXERS/MAGIC 182-188 PTS

As a diehard Chicagoan, I can't tell you how excited I'll be tonight to crack a Labatt's Max Ice, dump out some Chili Cheese Fritos, and lay on my white-tiger rug to watch Hotel Erotica: Up All Night on Cinemax. And making my viewing pleasure even sweeter, on the undercard we have the streaky-young Bulls against the somewhat out-of-shape defending Champs at the United Center. And especially considering neither team has played much defense of yet, I expect another shoot-out and more crazy antics from Chicago's childish frontcourt. As for my prediction, you’ll have to wait till after I give you my Five-Star Lock of the Night Homeboys!

SAN ANTONIO SPURS (+4.5) @ DALLAS MAVERICKS
While the Spurs limped into the playoffs looking like Nautica Thorn after a DP feature, it’s amazing how much confidence they seemed to gain as Game 2 wore on. As predicted by yours truly, without anybody on the Cubans to remotely guard Tony Longoria, Coach Pops simplified his offense to the frenchman dribbling around until he found a crease or rubbing of Timmy D on the pick-n-roll/pop. And as we witnessed, the Mavs have absolutely no answer to prevent his penetration or protect the basket once he’s in the paint. Throw-in the unbelievable spacing from San Antone’s plethora of long-range bombers, and I don’t see how Dallas can prevent another torching at the defensive end.

You can have Coach Carrey...I'll take Coach Pops!

Ok, maybe it's a STRETCH to say Carlisle looks like Carrey, but at least you got a pic of Stacy out of the deal!

And making matters worse for the Mavs, Erick Dampier’s dumb-azz comments that he's gonna knock Mr. Longoria on his azz every time he’s inside means Coach Jim Carrey’s only legitimate defensive big will be in foul trouble by the 2nd quarter. Seriously, considering the refs usually call things loser than Pamela’s batcave in the post-season, Damp could’ve probably gotten away with a couple and avoided a flagrant…but now, with the zebras on notice, either NBDL-quality center Ryan Hollins will be playing way too many minutes or Dampier is gonna be extra careful and allow too many easy buckets.

While Popovich's game plan isn't as crazy as our friends artwork, his simplicity is what makes the Spurs so dangerous!

While the Mavs have plenty of offensive weapons themselves, the Spurs learned after Game One they needed to slow the pace so J-Kidd, J-Terry, J-Howard, Dirk, & JJ Barera didn’t kill them in transition. Considering Kidd is virtually useless and Josh “Smokey, Drinky, I hate USA” Howard still seems a little out of synch in the half-court, only the German Diggler and the occasional kick-out to the Jett should scare the veteran Spurs. And with the great Pops game-planning to prevent the few options they have left, I fully expect the Spurs to control this contest from start to finish…SAN ANTONIO by 4-8 PTS

As for the Bulls/Celts tilt at the United Center tonight,...

...it's all about Noah & Miller preventing Perkins from dominated the glass and getting too deep down-low!

After managing only 7-points in a Game Two loss, look for Yao to dominate the paint and to get Grandpa Oden & Joel PryZilla in foul-trouble early. Especially with the young Blazers getting their first taste of playoff hoops on the road, I expect Houston to open a double-digit lead early and not look back...ROCKETS BY 10-15 PTS

While the vibe around Chi-town & ESPN regarding GM Jerry Angelo’s selections focused on the crazy athleticism & size of 3rd Round DT Jarron Gilbert (San Jose St.). and the potential immediate impact of Sooners WR Juaquin Iglesias (3rd Round), the selection of the lil playmaking CB from Vandy, D.J. Moore, was the highlight of my Bears draft. Of course I’ll admit Gilbert’s crazy pool jumping feat is redonkulous and grabbing three WRs was an absolute necessity, but with Peanut Tillman & Nathan Vasher already starting to look a step slower, I love the aggressive move to grab the 5-9 192 lb ballhawk in the 4th Rd...especially one with 12 Ints over the last two years!

Just like my facial expression when I saw our friend here without much attire on the highway...

...GM Jerry Angelo made the same face when he saw D.J. Moore still on the board when pick #119 came up!

Moore was so valuable to the Commodores last year he even carried the rock on offense 9 times for 76 yards, caught seven balls for 143 yrds & two TDs, and was their return specialist on both kickoffs & punts. Throw-in that he’s an honor student, has a great pigskin IQ, and is a coach’s dream by all accounts, don’t be surprised to see D.J. finding his way onto the field with regularity by his second season. Especially with the size of the Bears current corners, Moore adds a new dimensional to Lovie’s D and could turn into a phenomenal nickelback with his knack for always finding his way to football.

As for the Bulls game Sunday...

While D-Rose, Ben, & Kirk put a smile on my face that could only be topped by Miranda ringing my doorbell...

...can anyone else believe how crazy it was that Doc actually had to play Mr. Scalabrine heavy minutes in a Playoff game!

As for one of the most exciting Bulls games since…well, I guess Game One & Two in Boston, it’s amazing to me how many people can’t believe Vinny Del Scott Baio’s team actually has a chance to win this series. While the Bulls have the most exciting offensive backcourt since Spud Webb & Mitch Richmond in Sac-town, the amazing thing is for once they actually have an advantage in the frontcourt. Especially once Perkins was in foul trouble, T-Time, Noah, & Miller had the luxury of banging with the undersized & overweight Big Baby, the Michael Rapaport looking Scalabrine, and the NBDL-skilled Mikki Moore. And while the Chicago diehards will tell you they still have Shuttlesworth and the oddley-shaped Paulie, without KG manning the middle, Leon Powe’s aggression around the bucket, & Posey’s attitude off-the-bench, this team might be the worst defensive team left in the Playoffs. Call me a hater if you’d like, but no matter how much fun this series has been, I’m more entertained than impressed.

While the Hornets pulled-off an emotional two-point victory at home this weekend, after the Nuggets combined to outscore Byron Scott’s crew by 44 points in Game One & Two, don’t you think there’s a chance Denver didn’t bring the same swagger and New Orleans came out with some desperation. I know CP3 is one of the toughest match-ups in the league, but with Peja a shell of his former self, Tyson still out-of-sync, Posey hobbled, and huge minutes off their short bench from the 33-year old New Zealander Sean Marks, I just don’t see how the Hornets have the fire-power to keep up.

After the Nugget starters get rolling, how nice is it to have these two cats coming off the bench?!

That's like buying a kick-azz car and the dealer throwing in these two for the drive home!

I know this sounds riskier than sleeping with Pamela without a hat after I spent yesterday telling you how awful both have played defensively, but trust me, the Celtic vets are gonna slow this to a snail's pace tonight. Paulie can't even get past half-court on transition D and their entire frontcourt available (Perkins, Big Baby, & Rapaport) are not what you'd call track-stars. Throw-in the fact that Shuttleswork can usually get any shot he wants if they just run him off enough screens, and I expect Doc to utilize the shot-clock & keep Chicago in the 90s tonight.

While her cocky lil walk looks great at home...

...Benny will be dealing with some road haters and a bad hamstring when trying to get his rolling!

As for the Bulls on offense, they really should be scoring on almost every possession, but still tend to fight over the rock and play too much one-on-one. While Ben Gordon makes more tough shots than anybody in the Association, anytime D-Rose gets on a roll he seems to break the momentum with a bad cast 8 seconds into the shot-clock. And with the BeanTown Garden going crazy tonight, I expect Ben has and his hamstring to struggle to break out the magic again...

...I just don't think it's a stretch to think these two feel the pressure a lil more and struggle to break the century mark!

In D-Wade's two wins this series they've averaged 108 ppg , while in their two losses they've only averaged 68 ppg...that's crazier than Angelina dropping down on all fours and looking up at Billy Bob with his tattoo on her arm! As for the rumor Mr. Wade is banged-up, all that means is he'll be heading to the cup with reckless abandonment and getting plenty of sympathy from the refs. So trust me, while the Hawks will be running & gunning to the HotLanta crowd, D-Wade will push the tempo and go off for MFin 40! As for the outcome, while it'll be close, I'm guessing Joe Johnson & Co. pull it out and score close to the century mark...HEAT/HAWKS TOTAL 188-196

While Paulie's had his momments, Johnny's been on his azz from start to finish!

After a poor performance from Salmons & a missed FT from Brad Miller Tuesday, I was a amazed how many fans were screaming for the former Kings sharp-shooter to stop casting and for Vinny to use Tyrus instead of Mr. Miller in the 4th. While I’m not saying they're headed to the HOF, they are the reason the Bulls made the playoffs and are consistently in every game. Sure Miller looks slower than Paul Konerko at times, but his ability to space the floor and keep a big out of the paint is the main reason Rose has averaged 20 ppg this series. As for Salmons, I’m not exaggerating when I say this, but he might be the most underrated wing player in the Association. And while Gordon has been lauded for playing through a recent hamstring injury, Johnny's the one that’s been fighting a groin injury for more than a month & actually playing some defense at the other end.

While 90% of the world can't stand his azz, I actually think he's a funny cat that brings great energy to the hardwood!

And last but certainly not least, the most hated Bull in Chicago since Brad Sellers has suddenly turned from a spastic punk to a passionate lunchpale baller! And while I’m sure most of you will call me a bandwagoner-jumper on Mr. Noah, I’ve always thought he does more good than harm on the floor and has consistently gotten better at protecting the paint, rebounding the rock, and using his emotions as an asset not a liability. As for the Celts, their superstar is tired, their frontcourt is slow, and Rondo looks a lil shaky after the Miller face-snag & Hinrich scuffle…which means Chicago is advancing and sending the Defending Champs to an early vacation. And while I’ve always loved KG, for the first time in my life he’s started to annoy me more than Blagojevich in front of a camera or Asia Carrera when she decided she would no longer give hummers for our viewing pleasure.

I can only think of a few things bigger than my handicapping success this week...too bad I won't tell you what they are!

As I told you on Monday, this ATS week was gonna be easier than duping Travis Henry & Jason Caffey into not wearing a hat so you can have their money! And minus an OT unda-loss that kept me from an undefeated week thus far, I can’t feel too bad about only winning you guys three of four this week, As for tonight…
